Many teams will allow live attendance during NBA games this year. But, none of them will allow 100% of their capacity. The numbers were finalized based on the state’s rules & restrictions due to the pandemic.

However, in this article, we will cover only teams that made it to the play-off. That’s because attendance for other cities doesn’t matter now. The following teams are allowing live fans in the NBA Games:

Atlanta Hawks

Arena: State Farm Arena

Capacity: 16,888

Allowed: 7,625

Atlanta Hawks will allow 45% of total capacity in the arena. All fans are required to wear masks all the time when inside. However, they also have seating arrangements for 500 people who have vaccination proof. These people won’t require social distance.

Boston Celtics

Arena: TD Garden

Capacity: 18,624

Allowed: 2,235

Boston Celtics are allowing only 12% of full capacity fans for home games. They also will follow all the safety measurements.

Brooklyn Nets

Arena: Barclays Center

Capacity: 17,732

Allowed: 1,773

Currently, Brooklyn Nets are allowing only 10% of total capacity. Brooklyn Nets are doing excellent in the league and one of the top favorites to win. In the coming days, they may allow more fans.

Dallas Mavericks

Arena: American Airlines Center

Capacity: 19,200

Allowed: 4,800

Though Mavericks started the season only with 25% of its capacity, they’re trying to get permission for at least 9,00 fans.

Denver Nuggets

Arena: Ball Arena

Capacity: 19,520

Allowed: 7,750

Started with allowing 4,050 fans, which recently increased to 40% of total capacity.

LA Clippers

Arena: Staples Center

Capacity: 19, 068

Allowed: TBD

They have permission to allow fans but haven’t decided the number yet.

Los Angeles Lakers

Arena: Staples Center

Capacity: 19,068

Allowed: TBD

Same arena, same rules for both Clippers and Lakers.

Miami Heat

Arena: American Airlines Center

Capacity: 19,600

Allowed: 8,600

Initially, Miami Heat allowed only 5,700 fans. Recently they have increased the capacity.

Milwaukee Bucks

Arena: Fiserv Forum

Capacity: 17,341

Allowed: 9,000

Milwaukee Bucks also increased the capacity for the Play-off.

New York Knicks

Arena: Madison Square Garden

Capacity: 19,812

Allowed: 15,000

Famous MSG is allowing maximum fans among all the Arenas.

Philadelphia 76ers

Arena: Wells Fargo Center

Capacity: 20,155

Allowed: 10,050

One of the top favorites this year, 76ers are allowing 50% of its capacity.

Phoenix Suns

Arena: Phoenix Suns Arena

Capacity: 18,055

Allowed: 3,000

The number may increase during the play-off.

Portland Trail Blazers

Arena: Moda Center

Capacity: 19,441

Allowed: 2,000

The seating capacity is extremely limited in the Moda Center.

Utah Jazz

Arena: Vivint Home Smart Arena

Capacity: 18,306

Allowed: 13,000

Utah Jazz is doing excellent till now with allowing the second-highest number of fans.

Washington Wizards

Arena: Capital One Arena

Capacity: 20,362

Allowed: 2,100

Washington Wizards made it to the play-off after the exciting play-in rounds.
